An eco-solvent roll printer with a 528.5 cm actual print width for wide-format work such as building wraps, large banners and exhibition graphics. It uses six industrial Konica KM1800i print heads. It suits sign makers who produce large surfaces in one piece, since print width is what keeps the number of seams down.
THK dual guide rails and a full-length rail structure give the carriage stable motion, and a linear motor is optional. Carriage height is adjusted steplessly for different material thicknesses. A capping station with a waste ink tank, a negative pressure system and head crash protection are standard. A reflective photoelectric sensor detects the feeding of different media. Drying is by infrared heater and fan, and RIP software is MainTop or Photo Print.
It handles the roll media used in outdoor advertising, vehicle wrapping and exhibition stands. Eco-solvent ink keys into the coated surface and dries with heat and airflow.
