The X1 is a portable case-type laser welder weighing 13 kg. With its pen-tip gun and 460 W diode laser it performs pulse and spot welding. It is used to take the machine to the job when joining, tacking or repairing small, thin parts.
It works on stainless steel, carbon steel and brass from 0.2 to 2 mm. It is air-cooled, with nitrogen, argon or air as shielding gas. Pulse welding reduces heat build-up on thin sheet, while spot welding suits tacking and small joints. It measures 390 × 192.5 × 269.5 mm and has a 2 m cable.
It suits workshops handling gift and promotional products and similar small metal parts. The case format is practical where a fixed welding station is not needed, space is tight or work happens in different places.
When choosing, start from your material thickness and seam type. The X1 is meant for thin parts and short seams; for thicker material or long seams, look at the fiber laser models in the same family. Power supply is 1200 W / 220 V, drawing below 12 A at full load. As a class 4 laser, it must be used with suitable safety glasses.

About X1
It works on stainless steel, carbon steel and brass from 0.2 to 2 mm. For work outside that range, consider the fiber laser welders in the same family.
For a seam on thin sheet, pulse welding is the better choice because it reduces heat build-up. To tack a part or join it at a small point, spot welding is enough. The X1 runs in both modes.
It runs on a 1200 W / 220 V supply and draws below 12 A at full load. Being air-cooled, it needs no separate water chiller. You can use nitrogen, argon or air as gas.
