A roll-to-roll UV printer for flexible film, banner, vehicle wrap film, posters and backlit film. It comes in two sizes with 3200 and 5300 mm material width. It is aimed at producers who want to complete double-sided posters and backlit work in a single operation.
The machine is built around two independent print carriages. In asynchronous mode they work as two separate single-sided print units, and in synchronous mode both sides of the material are printed in the same production flow. Head count ranges from 8 to 24, with 36 heads as an option.
Heated intermediate ink tanks have their own heating system, and the ink line locks automatically on power loss. A precision-milled chassis, dual guide rails, an X-axis linear motor and a metal encoder strip give precise motion. The water-cooled vacuum platform uses three-channel chilled water circulation and zoned vacuum.
LED UV ink does not dry by evaporation; it cures under LED light. This machine runs flexible UV ink and handles material up to 1.5 mm thick. When choosing, start with material width, then your share of double-sided work. Single-sided speed is 230 or 180 m²/h and double-sided speed is 115 or 90 m²/h. The 5.3 m model weighs 12500 kg net, so the floor and siting need separate planning.

About RTR3200UV-D / RTR5300UV-D
In synchronous mode the two carriages print both sides of the material in the same production flow. In asynchronous mode they work as two separate single-sided print units. Synchronous mode suits double-sided posters and backlit work, while asynchronous mode suits heavy single-sided production.
On this model two independent carriages do the double-sided printing, with an X-axis linear motor. The linked system instead prints sides A and B with two machines working together. Compare head count, speed and floor space on the two product pages.
It prints on roll materials such as flexible film, banner, vehicle wrap film, posters and backlit film, up to 1.5 mm thick, using flexible UV ink. For rigid boards, look at the hybrid UV or UV flatbed machines.
The base colours are CMYK, with LC, LM and white as options. Resolution is 1440 / 2160 dpi. If you print on backlit film or transparent media, mention your white channel needs at quotation.
