A textile printer for polyester, flag fabric and non-woven fabrics up to 320 cm wide. With CMYK sublimation ink and an infrared drying system it is built for textile production. It is used for flags and pennants, textile printing, and exhibition and stand work.
It uses Epson i3200 print heads, and you can configure it with 2 or 4 heads. Resolution is 600 dpi. Ink is fed by a siphon system, RIP software is PhotoPrint or PrintFactory, running on Windows 10, and data runs over USB 3.0 / Gigabit Ethernet.
Sublimation works differently from eco-solvent and UV. The ink does not sit on the surface as a layer; under heat the dye turns to gas and passes into the polyester fibre. That preserves the feel of the fabric, but the process suits polyester and polyester-rich fabrics and does not give the same result on natural fibres such as cotton. The infrared unit dries the ink, and a separate heat fixing step is needed to set the colour in the fabric. Discuss your fixing line at quotation.
Output is the deciding factor. With 2 heads, speed is 68 m²/h in 3-pass and 35 in 6-pass; with 4 heads, 130 in 3-pass and 70 in 6-pass (±10%). The machine measures 4.8 × 1.3 × 1.9 m and weighs 980 kg net. The power supply is AC 220 V ±10% with 10000 W power and a 3 kVA UPS.

About Ultra i3200 3304 DS
It prints on polyester, flag fabric and non-woven fabrics. Sublimation dye bonds with polyester fibre, so natural fibres such as cotton do not give the same result. If you use blended fabric, request a sample first.
If you produce fabric and flags, sublimation is the right process because the dye enters the fibre and the fabric keeps its feel. Eco-solvent machines are built for coated media such as vinyl, banner and wrap film. The two processes are not interchangeable.
Yes, sublimation needs heat fixing to set the colour in the fabric. The infrared drying on the machine does not replace this step. Settle the calender or press arrangement and your workflow during the quotation talks.
In 4-pass mode, 2 heads give 50 m²/h and 4 heads give 100 m²/h. Regular high-volume flag and pennant orders point to 4 heads, while sample and short-run work may be fine on 2.
The operating environment should be 15–32 °C and 35–80% humidity; when powered off, 5–40 °C, non-condensing.
