A 60 cm wide printer that prints colour, white and varnish on UV-DTF transfer film. With integrated lamination and white ink circulation it is built for label and promotional production. Printing and lamination sit on one line, so the roll comes off ready for transfer.
It uses four Epson i3200-U1 print heads at a resolution of 3200 dpi. Besides UV-DTF film it prints on flexible advertising media up to 1.5 mm thick. The control board is Hoson and the RIP software is PhotoPrint. Ink tanks, a cooling unit, a vacuum platform, a head maintenance unit, a foil/lamination unit and an operator panel are included.
In the UV-DTF process, the design is printed with UV ink on an adhesive-coated film, then covered with a transfer film. To apply it, the backing is peeled off, the design is pressed onto a hard surface such as a cup, box, glass or metal, and the top film is pulled away; this generally needs no heat. Conventional DTF, transferred to textiles with a heat press, is a different process with its own ink, powder and target materials. This machine is not meant for fabric printing.

About UV-DTF Printer and Laminator 60 cm
Conventional DTF is for textiles: the design is printed on film, powdered and transferred to fabric with a heat press. UV-DTF uses UV ink and lamination to produce a transfer that sticks to hard surfaces like a decal. This machine is built for UV-DTF and is not suitable if your goal is transfer to fabric.
