Fiber Laser — Open Cabin
Open cabin, single-table fiber laser cutting machine. Built for workshops that change jobs often and want fast sheet loading and easy access, with 1–30 kW power and three equipment levels.
- Laser power options from 1 to 30 kW
- Table sizes from 1500×3000 mm up to 3000×12000 mm
- Auto-focus cutting head (OSPRI / WSX / RAYTOOLS / BOCHU / PRECITEC)
Fiber Laser — Open Cabin, inside and out
From frame design to hardware options: how the machine works and which jobs and production lines it suits.
An open cabin, single-table fiber laser cutting machine. The open table layout eases sheet loading, part collection and access to maintenance points, while the simpler cabin lowers the initial investment. It is a practical option for workshops that change jobs often and work across varying thicknesses.
The table is configured from 1500×3000 mm up to 3000×12000 mm, with cutting head travel (Z) of 62–156 mm. Laser power is selected from 1 kW to 30 kW; for reference, 1 kW cuts 10 mm mild steel, 6 kW 25 mm, 12 kW 40 mm and 30 kW 80–90 mm. Power is chosen by the thickness you cut most often and your daily output.
Three equipment levels are offered: ORIGO keeps the investment controlled with a welded steel structure and economical components, NEXORA suits regular production with a stress-relieved reinforced structure and an EtherCAT motion system, and ZENITH targets intensive production with a stress-relieved heavy industrial chassis, an IPG laser source and CypCut control.
The cutting table uses replaceable metal slats and suits zoned fume extraction. A dual-circuit chiller matched to the power serves the laser source and cutting head; lubrication is manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic by level. Nesting software, dual shuttle tables, automatic sheet loading–unloading and a tube cutting line are optional. With an open cabin, plan fume extraction and work-area safety in advance.

All values are for the standard configuration. For specific needs we share configuration options during the quotation process.
Cooling: a dual-circuit chiller matched to the power of the laser source and the cutting head. Lubrication is manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic depending on the level. Fume extraction is internal ducting only on ORIGO and NEXORA; ZENITH adds a 7.5 kW · 380 V · 3000 rpm medium-high pressure motor with a zoned automatic open–close extraction system.
The cabinet is PRIME-designed; the status indicator shows blue on standby, green while running and red on fault. Software and automation options: nesting, dual table, loading–unloading and tube line.
About Fiber Laser — Open Cabin
Choose power by the thickness you cut most often and your daily output target. For reference, 1 kW cuts 10 mm mild steel, 6 kW 25 mm, 12 kW 40 mm and 30 kW 80–90 mm. It usually makes more sense to size for your regular work than for the thickest job you cut once in a while.
Fiber lasers are generally used on sheet metals such as mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium; reflective metals such as brass and copper need more careful settings. The thickness references given here are for mild steel. If you cut something else, tell us the material and thickness.
An open cabin makes loading, part collection and access to maintenance points easier, and its structure is simpler. If controlled access to the cutting area and fume collection are your priority, an enclosed cabin is the better fit. To reduce loading stops, dual shuttle tables are also worth considering.
ORIGO keeps the investment controlled with a welded steel structure and economical components. NEXORA suits regular production with a stress-relieved reinforced structure and an EtherCAT motion system. ZENITH targets intensive production with a stress-relieved heavy industrial chassis, an IPG laser source and CypCut control.
